Abstract

We propose a journey into creativity in three stages, all three of which are inspired by our main research interests, which are primarily related to the philosophy of mind. 1) We characterise the notion of creativity in terms of non-algorithmicity – and not in  terms of the metaphysics of mind. 2) Based on point 1, we give relatively unusual examples of creative works. 3) Among the possible  subjects of creativity, we emphasise ‘extended subjects’, referring to ideas from the recent ‘extended mind’ debate.
